Carrara White

Quarried for over two thousand years in the Apuan Alps, Carrara is the marble to which Michelangelo entrusted his greatest works. Its white, cool surface, traversed by subtle grey veining, is one of the most recognizable stone patterns in the world.

In Velangi furniture, Carrara White appears in a brushed or polished version — depending on the character of the piece. Polished stone reflects light and emphasizes the depth of the pattern; brushed stone provides a matte, mineral texture of exceptional class.

Nero Marquina marble
Spanish Marble

Nero Marquina

Deep black from the Basque Country, intersected by expressive white veins of an almost calligraphic nature. Nero Marquina is a stone with a strong personality — dramatic, architectural, perfect as a focal point in any space.

The high density of the material makes it extremely resistant to abrasion. In Velangi furniture, it is always finished with a high gloss, which extracts the contrast of black and white to the absolute maximum.

Roman Travertine

Travertine is a calcareous-sedimentary stone with a characteristic, porous structure that forms over millennia in hot springs. This is the very material that built Rome — the Colosseum, the Pantheon, baroque fountains. It carries the history of architecture within it.

In Velangi furniture, travertine is finished with a brushed surface and filled pores — achieving a warm, earthy, organic texture. The palette ranges from creamy beige to deep walnut, depending on the block.

Iranian Onyx

Forest Onyx

Green onyx is a semi-precious stone with exceptional transparency — when backlit, it becomes a living painting: streaks of green, gold, and dark black flow through its structure like pigment in water. Each slab is absolutely unique.

Forest Onyx in Velangi furniture appears in exclusive designs, often with LED backlighting to showcase its translucency. A material dedicated to spaces that are meant to be remembered.

Honey Onyx
Turkish Onyx

Honey Onyx

Warm honey onyx in shades of amber, caramel, and pale gold. Its concentric patterns resemble tree rings or waves on water — rhythmic, mesmerizing, absolutely natural. It's a stone that warms any interior and brings it to life.

Combined with a gold or brass base, Honey Onyx creates furniture that is both a sculpture and a functional object. In the Velangi collection, it is our warmest, most inviting material.
