Fil de Fer by Catellani & Smith is an iconic, sculptural pendant lamp designed by Enzo Catellani, considered one of the most important works of Italian lighting design. The three-dimensional sphere, made of hand-woven aluminum wire (available in natural aluminum with a nickel-plated base or anodized in matte gold with a gilded base), encloses light points, creating a remarkable, glowing structure with a poetic character when switched on.

The lamp was designed as a dominant, artistic decorative accent for private and commercial interiors. The light filtering through the dense structure of the woven wire casts thousands of charming reflections on the surrounding walls and ceiling, creating a unique, magical atmosphere.

The fixture is powered by 12V DC and uses replaceable LED light sources with a G4 base (0.8W LED bulbs, warm white 2700K, CRI 82). The model is available in the following dimensions:

 Ø 50 cm: 12 × LED G4 0.8W (total power 9.6W / 840 lm)

 Ø 70 cm: 18 × LED G4 0.8W (total power 14.4W / 1260 lm)

 Ø 100 cm: 24 × LED G4 0.8W (total power 19.2W / 1680 lm)

The power supply and dimming system are not included in the set – they are optional and priced individually depending on the chosen installation variant.
