GOLD MOON CHANDELIER

The Gold Moon Chandelier by Catellani & Smith is a distinctive, multi-element pendant light from the iconic Luci d'Oro collection, representing a modern, spectacular reinterpretation of the classic chandelier. The composition of discs cascading on thin wires creates an exceptionally warm, luxurious decorative accent in prestigious home and commercial spaces.

The shades, with their irregular, hand-formed surfaces, are finished on the inside with noble gold leaf. Each hemisphere houses copper coils with a discreetly embedded, replaceable light source, from which light softly reflects off the golden texture of the metal, creating an atmospheric, golden glow and a rich play of shadows. The fixture is ideal for tall halls, stairwells, and above large dining tables.

The fixture is powered by low voltage 24V DC and uses replaceable LED modules with a power of 1.1W per point (luminous flux approx. 63 lm/point, warm white 2700K, high color rendering index CRI 90). The individual discs have a diameter of Ø 20 cm, and the entire structure is based on a satin steel base. The model is available in standard scale variants and custom-made versions:

 Standard variants: configurations with a cascade of 20/25/35 light points (ceiling rose Ø 78 cm, total suspension height up to 300 cm, not adjustable).

 Cascata (cascade): a fixture with an elongated, vertical suspension profile, adapted for high spaces and communication routes (standard 20 or 25 discs).

 Grappolo (cluster): a densely concentrated composition of discs grouped closer to the ceiling rose, creating a striking, compact cloud of light above lounge areas or tables.

 Custom versions: possibility to adapt the number of suspensions (from a minimum of 20 to even several dozen points) and the shape and diameter of the ceiling base to the room's architecture.

The power supply and dimming system are not included in the set – they are an optional extra and are priced individually depending on the chosen installation variant.
